Fochlucan Lyrist PrC [CA] character build

The Rogue variant also found on pg. 58 of UA replaces sneak attack with a Fighter's bonus feat progression. Two levels would give you Evasion and a boatload of skill points that would come in handy for a JoaT - the two bonus feats are just gravy.

You, sir, are my hero. I completely missed this. Juicy.

Buy a ring of evasion.

You could skip the druid levels and go loremaster. Or capture a druid and torture him into teaching you. :-) A blighter from MotW or really, any ex-druid might be willing to teach you druidic - for a price, of course...

I think you need evasion as a class feature. But I agree on the notion that druish (it's the correct spelling-See Spaceballs) isn't only limited to druids. It's hard for me to believe that not a single archmage has sent invible minions to eavesdrop some druids in the bar. Or that a pissed off druid thought: Screw those pompous tree-huggers, I'm teaching everyone druish.

Here's a simple build I like:

Rogue3
Wizard2
Druid1
Green Whisperer4 (Dragon 311)
FL10

Base attack 16, 2d6 sneak attack, 6th level wizard spells, 8th level druid spells, 2nd level bard spells.

Interesting build. What does the Green Whisperer do for you? It looks like it gives you bard song and grately hastened bard spellcasting. What are the requirements?

The truely sad part is that, if I did build this character, I doubt he'd make it to level ten, so all the prep work for the FL PrC would be so much wasted effort. But maybe...

I would say that a permanency'd casting of tongues would also do the trick... but by the RAW, it doesn't. Props to the designers for making the language requirement so damn'd hard to bypass.

Not so hard to bypass. Take one druid. Roast over low heat for one level. Apply healing spells so as to keep meat tender. Upon level up, apply 2 skill points to speak language: druidic. Repeat as needed.

Green whisperer grants bardic knowledge, bardic music, +1 spellcaster level of both bard and druid per level, ability to use bardic music to influence plants. Requirements: Knowledge nature 8, Perform 8, survival 5, AL: any neutral.

I should add that 4 levels of GW only gives you level 2 bard spells. I'll edit my earlier post.
