If you say so, to me it means 'Kill things and take their stuff' - which usually includes magical items by the bucketload. The two tend to go together.

I actually wanted to vote Combat, but as in war scenarios, not monty haul.

I voted for fantasy, hack-n-slay, 1st-15th levels.

I like fantasy RPGs. I run games for players who like to fight. I get sick of DMing around 14th-16th level. WotC wuvs me

There wasn't a category for lighthearted/humorous adventures. If there was, I would've voted for it.

It is unfortunate that GRIMJIM felt the need to take a swipe at one style of play and not all of them, though.

:/

It wasn't 'taking a swipe'. I see the two as linked and see the term used by people who like that sort of thing.

War would probably come under political, since it is diplomacy by other means.

Kind of like I see Social/Political, and think "Social/Political/Artsy Fartsy Drama Queens." That's not a swipe either, just that I tend to see a lot of drama queens play in those types of games. :p Like I said, more swipes would've been better... from a standpoint of giving me a chuckle. No swipes would've been best, since as you can see from other responses, it's already skewing your results.
