Nice. Something I will definitely use in my games.

In before complaints about "Feydark."

You were lucky, I was thinking of complaining about that in the OP. I mean, it's serviceable, but it hardly inspires a vision of fantastic realms.

Wow. And one of the things I liked most about 4th edition was the tossing of unnecessary symmetry.

The Great Wheel is dead. Long live the Great Wheel!

Eh. Like most of the fluff, I can't say I care for it.

Dislike the madness. Apparently they're cursed. And mad. Because of the evil eye. The pink eye!

Also, alas, chaos = madness. And power hungry, naturally. Joy. Deemphasize alignments, but fall into same pigeonhole problems anyway.

Tying the cyclops in with the idea that they're blind followers. Eh. I have a hard enough time tying the two races together in the first place. This doesn't help.

On the feydark- I don't much care for it. Not just for the goofiness, but the confusion. Is it the underdark portion of the feywild, or is it where the feywild and shadowfell overlap? I'm pretty sure they mean the former, but it could just as easily mean the latter.

The Feywild and Shadowfell are both reflections of 'The World', which is why reflections of the Underdark -- which is now strictly canon in 4ed -- exist in both. That's the limit of the symmetry. 'Feydark' is new, can't say I like it much, but the Fomorian role in 4ed looks cool, and the art is superb.

I like it, it remind me of ancient mythical stories, when the giants roam the earth, and also of celtic and viking legends. Cool er, nice fluff!

I think he's equating two realms that have been directly called "mirrors of the world," and thus share certain key features (like the Underdark), with the need for a Neutral Evil plane for Neutral Evil outsiders, since there's a Neutral Good plane for Neutral Good outsiders in the Greet Wheel.

Logically, it would be the "Feyshadow" or the "Shadowild," not the "Feydark."
