Food requirements for Small characters

I could have sworn that I saw a rule in the PHB saying that Small characters need less food than Medium-size characters, something on the order of 1/2 or 1/4, but I can't find it now that I look. Is it there, or am I just imagining things?

there is a notation that trail rations weigh less for Small PCs (but still cost the same)....is that what you mean?

it's in the price list, pg 108

edit - it;s one of those "these items weigh one-quarter this amount" items

DMG, page 86, under "Starvation and Thirst Dangers". Small characters need half as much food/water as medium-sized characters.

I was hopin' Valar morghulis ment "kiss ur butt good-bye", then u had the Iraqi flag underneth that. But it don't mean nuthin like that I don't reckon, oh well.

Oh. No, not that, I fear. I had the phrase there before the flag. The flag's just for the sake of being different, by the way, not to offer my moral support to any particular viewpoint.
