That was an insult. I posted a message about how I handle evil behavior on the part of PCs in my game. Had nothing to do with any other thread, and your taking it as you did shows me you have a low opinion of me. You don't know me, don't you dare impugn my motives.

I have done my best to be informative, insightful, and considerate of others. I don't always succeed, but I hope I get it right more often than not. Your action was based on a false assumption. It was wrong. I don't do "thinly veiled threads". You owe me an apology, and should that prove beyond your abilities, then I must ask Morrus to remove you as a moderator.

They are trying to contain something that was threatening to get out of hand. Don't think you should take it personally, afterall they closed a thread by Master Gygax himself!

Though why they allow favorite bands and WWF threads to continue is beyond me.

I'll open this thread long enough to add my thoughts.

1) It's Dinkeldog's first day. Have a little heart and give the guy a break.

2) Don't ever call a moderator out on the boards. You know well that's not how it's done. All you're saying is "I disrespect the moderators, the rules they have established and the way they choose to run the boards". This issue has nothing to do with the content of the closed thread. I have made it fairly clear in the past how these things should be dealt with, and there is no email from you in my inbox.

3) I wouldn't bother asking me to remove a moderator. That's not how it works.

That said, this thread shouldn't exist. Since it does exist, the best place for it is in Meta, not in Gen Discussion. Not that it should exist in the first place.

All of the moderators have been under fire today; as someone else put it on another thread, sometimes after quenching a fire, you need to build a firewall for a short while. Try and have a little empathy for what they're trying to accomplish, eh, instead of taking it so personally. Work with them - don't turn it into a vendetta, because they sure as hell don't have the time or inclination to get involved in a pissing match with anyone here.
