For sale: 1 ring of invisibility. Barely Used. £20 ono.

I would most likely go with the helm of teleportation. I would use it to go back and forth to work. Make my life a lot simpler. :)

As for how much would I spend... as much as I could afford, which lately isn't all that much.

Belt of Flying, hands down. Throw away my cane, always be able to move pretty fast... remember, you don't need to fly high up in the air... Not to mention, all the "cool" uses of it.

edit: Oh, and to buy the Ring of Invisibility, I'd gladly spend every last penny of my own money and the sum total of every bit of money I could possibly borrow from any person or institution who'd lend me money. If I had real money, I'd probably set a limit somewhere around $5 million. I could make it back quickly, even within honorable (if not legal) means.

You'd have the ability to teleport three times per day, and you'd still work for a living? Sucker.

Wow, just talking about Zachary's this morning on these boards put me in the mood. So I just got back from there an hour ago. Mmm, deep dish goodness. If I could fly, I'd make daily runs there. D20dwarf, if you ever make it back to the Bay, the Zachary's is on me.

I'd love to fly. That would be grand. Sign me up.

Second on my list would be the invis ring. Not for any perverse or illegal reasons but simply because it would be darn cool to freak people out with. Pretending like I found the One Ring and all. Teehee...

Imagine busting out that sucker during a late night D&D session.

Helm of Teleportation definitely. Going home from school up in LA would be a snap, as would getting to my favorite (not so local) gaming store.

But damn, it'd probably make people think I'm strange. Could to be a ball-cap, or beanie of teleportation? lol

I'd get the helm. Then I'd get a Nasa space suit (with extra big helmet to fit on top of that teleport helm) and visit moon. Or mars. Or whatever.

So...wheres the ring of water-breathing? I mean, hell, you could go diving w/o a scuba suit. And if your ship sinks...you dont drown.....just swim back to land.....just gotta watch out for dem sharks.

And what about the portable hole? Bottle of air? Ioun stones? why aint these on sale?

Invisibilty has more uses, but then again I don't have a car so the flight and teleportation ideas seem to stick out in my mind. However, for all intents and purposes, I must state that my hands deserve the ring of invisibility. I would never 'work' again in my life. If I want to visit Europe or whatever, I can just sneak on-board a plane.

Can you imagine how sad it would be to die while invisible, in a plane crash or boating accident? Never to be found again, invisible at the bottom of the ocean?

They already sold them. ;)

And I didn't want to clutter up the basic idea. If I had, I'd just be asking "what is your favourite magic item".

Well, for me, it was a toss up between the helm and the belt. However, after doing some quick math, I figured the belt would only go a bit more then ten miles per hour. Not something to see the world with, exactly. Unless you're happy with that speed, I suppose. I just wouldn't try going overseas.

Now, if it had a faster top speed, I'd be all over it like alchemists fire on a troll. But, if it's as per the PHB/DMG, the helm is where it's at for me.
