For Those Upset About The Flavpr Changes

I don't game in any prepublished setting, but my homebrew of twelve years seems to be most akin to the Game of Thrones novel; low magic, humanocentric, focused on politics.

I don't care which game world I play in. I just want a fun game with my friends. I have done that in all of the above over the past 27 years and see no reason why I cannot continue to do so, regardless of what is done with the flavor.

I voted "something else?" because of my quirky homebrew. It's not as magitech as Eberron, but it's more pre-Renaissance than medieval Greyhawk. Also, I ripped the 2e Undermountain boxed set from FR and stuck it below one of my major cities in Gaia.

For our World of Aereth (Goodman DCC) campaigns, we adhere more to the medieval/PoL setting which seems to be the default assumption of the 3.5 rules. The 4e flavor seems to marginalize worlds like GH and Aereth somewhat.

'Something Else'. I've never used Greyhawk and never known anyone to. A friend of mine loved the Realms and used that, but I never have. I am loving Eberron and my previous homebrews (with airships, etc) have been closer to it than anything else WoTC/TSR ever published.

Much like Greyhawk. We use the standard PHB pantheon which is Greyhawk, but the larger politics of the setting in no way affects our gaming. It's standard core most of the time but without the Greyhawk flavor as it were.

Hmm, not 100% sure if the pole is going to do what you want.

Maybe something more involved: I use greyhawk and like the changes, I use greyhawk and dislike the changes, I use eberon and like the changes, I use eberon and dislike...

I just think that, no matter what you get, you can't really confirm or deny (even among people who use this forum) that its Oerthers that like or dislike previewed 4thed flavour more.
