Force damage... hmmmm... uhh..?

I'm having a humorously difficult time trying to find a benefit to changing a weapon's damage to force. Any ideas?

If you are fighting insubstantial creatures and have the Inescapable Force feat you'll do full damage. Other then that I can't think of any.

D'oh! Old d20srd.org habits die hard.

The two feats are Inescapable Force (as ninja'd above) and Solid Sound, which gives you a +2 to any one FRW when you make a Force or Thunder attack. It's nicely flexible.

Ironically tho, the number 1 least resisted damage type is weapon damage (untyped in 4th edition), so changing it to a different type only increases the chances of it being resisted.

Which would be great if all weapon attacks were Martial and free of damage types. For the Swordmage, it's a completely different story.

Telekinesis? Also, many of the psion powers are force damage, besides the psychic ones.
