Forgotten Realms 3.5

I know that the Player's Guide is coming out to update Forgotten Realms characters to 3.5.

How difficult is it to take the other 3.0 FR books and update them to 3.5 (FRCS, Lords of Darkness, Magic of Faerun, City of the Spider Queen, etc.) ?

Does know of a website that has already done conversion work ?

If I read this interview properly, The Player's Guide will update portions of the FRCS, Magic of Faerûn, Faiths and Pantheons, and Races of Faerûn.

That is generally true, but it is more accurate to add 2 things:
If it is not updated in the Players Guide, it is Ok to use as is or with your own house-ruled fix, although it may be adjusted later in another product.

Generally, Rich Baker has said there were things that got cut for space reasons -- some will appear in future products, and others may appear as a web enhancement.

True. I was more addressing those "Oh no, my sword of who-he-whats-this isnt updated in the PG, I can't use it! Waaaah" type people.

Don't forget that if the item in question is revised and it sucks in the PG, you can use it "as is." I don't think Rich Baker will mind
