My expectations for the FRPG "Tour" of the FR are set around what we would see in the Grey Box "Cyclopedia of the Realms" level of content. So, using @Christian Hoffer example of Thay, more than the almost-nothing we got in SCAG, way less than the 5 pages in the 3E FRCS. The Hrey Box have Thay six paragraphs in 3 sections, like half a page total.
Half a page to a page, not a huge difference.

The one thing that will tell us most is the page count when we get it - a big page count will indicate a larger gazetteer, lower will mean smaller. Since we've only had the revised rule books with their standardized page count recently, we haven't had the opportunity to play the "guess what's in the book based on the page count" game in a while!

That is the interesting question for all these books, indeed.

My instincts tell me that the two FR books at some point were going to be a three book slipcase, like Spelljammer and Planescape, that grew out of bounds.

I don’t think they will do it, but I’m curious if they will consider revising the Monster Stat Blocks in Rising for the bundle reprint to match the layout and style of the new Monster Manual.

Clearly them packaging the two together is a signal that they plan on doing “Player” and “Dungeon Master” book pairings for Settings going forward, like they are doing with the Forgotten Realms books.

The realms getting "updated" is probably too strong of a word, they said they'd touch upon the various areas, but the biggest updates would occur in the five settings more fully explored in the book. Don't expect Thay to get a big story update, for instance.

Well Realms & Worlds teased a plot hook for Thay.

I suspect we will get a reasonable run down and some plot hooks for most nations in FR.

Remember that Red Wizards of Thay is a faction as well so I would not be surprised if Thay got the 4 pages, or at least 2 pages, perhaps including the faction material, perhaps not, but Thay is one of the biggest villians and draws of the whole setting.

I think the average will be anywhere from half a page, to several pages. Really depends on how large the book is, although the article also confirmed the books are large, not just "full sized" which is vaguer then large. I'm thinking minimum 256 (size of Waterdeep: Dragonheist), most likely 320 pages (the size of the 2014 PHB & the size of the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting 3e book from 2001), or hopefully 384 pages (the size of the 2024 PHB) if it's this big it's very likely even Kara Tur & Zakhara get some coverage.

Also remember the FRCS had a big gazetteer section on the Dalelands, which is now in the FRAG not in the FRPG, which free up page out for other regions.

Intrigued about this Circle Casting thing
It's something that was ibthe 2E FRCS: basically allows characters with the requisite Feats (I reckon it will be Feats again) to perform group Rituals to apply Metamagic effects and empower Spells. It is a Red Wizards of Thay and "Witches of Rashemen" (Minsc home country, next doir to Thay and one of the primary points of resistance to tge Red Wizards) thing.
