aren't spirit dragons the "shen lungs" from Kara-Tur? Then this should mean an important wink. If the look has been redesigned, the rest of no-core also could be retconeckted, or even the rest of creatures from Kara-Tur. For example the rat-goblins could be a hengeyokai subrace.

It is, in fact, the Spirit Dragon. They confirmed it at the panel yesterday.

It really does fit the aesthetic of a forest dragon, though! Although we now know it is a spirit dragon, I can totally see where you are coming from!

What made me think of this dragon being a forest dragon was its' coloration and the way the wings looked to me. They looked like Fall leaves stacked together. Each of the 2024 Dragons have some very unusual looking wings.

Anyhow, now I can imagine a Spirit Dragonborn based off of this image.

Yeah, they really reworked it. They never had wings or horns before.

The wings threw me off my Arcana check.

It’s a Green & White Dragon. They make their homes in the Taiga and have a breathe weapon that shoots poisonous ice crystals.

I think green/white was savannah. Green/red was taiga.

Kara-Tur, you say? And they just released a (at the moment) Japan only module with pre-gens hailing from Kara-Tur as well. Which they may see if they can do a global release.

Time to start wondering about which species, backgrounds, classes/subclasses, etc. might be introduced thru a 5e version of Kara Tur. New thread, please.
