D&D General Forgotten Realms: Real World Gods Still Present in the Old Empires

Is Enlil mentioned in the book?
I was relying on what an other site said. I am sorry to hear now there seems no mention of Enlil.

If someone has the book, maybe they can do a screen shot of what the books do say exactly, about Unther and Tymanther. Then discern what the situation is for the Dragonborn there.

Therefore, when describing the religious practices of the Gauls, Caesar uses Roman names; among them, Silvanus, who reappears multiple times in Caesar’s descriptions. Ed Greenwood probably got him from there, since his father was a librarian.
Greenwood in Dragon 54 said "SILVANUS Straight from DDG, p. 30." James Ward or Rob Kuntz in doing the Celtic mythos in DDG probably got Silvanus from a description including the Roman name.

Here, I am relying on this Reddit that discusses the new Forgotten Realms lore changes. Unfortunately the book said.

"Unther return[ed], and Tymanther is no more. Many dragonborn who once lived there have scattered across Faerûn, bringing Tymanther’s ways with them."

But apparently, there is no more information about what "no more" means.

It says, "many dragonborn scattered", implying that at least some or most dragonborn remain in Unther.

Tymanchebar's old capital remains:

Djerad Thymar. The fortress-city called Djerad Thymar was the capital of Tymanchebar, an empire of dragonborn that was transported from its home world of Abeir to Toril during the Spellplague and fused with Unther to form the new realm of Tymanther. With Unther’s return in the Second Sundering, the armies of Unther have shattered the power of Tymanther, but Djerad Thymar still stands. With its awe-inspiring stone architecture (the city is carved into the face of a mountain) and its vast arts districts, Djerad Thymar is a bastion for draconic culture and a mark of great pride for dragonborn.

Based on the bolded part, it sounds like Tymanther is "no more" because Gilgeam destroyed it as a political entity in his efforts to restore Unther to its pre-Spellplague state.

But the Dragonborn have not all knuckles under, either.

Sounds like material for a campaign.

Djerad Thymar itself "still stands"! But it lost control of the region. Ostensibly, the local military remains powerful. It was never looted or razed. Its cultural achievements remain "awe-inspiring".

I guess it is a local city-state now, rather than a capital.

Sounds fine for a dragonborn culture. Now it is a local setting, rather than a regional setting. Albeit even in the region there will be many dragonborn who Unther now governs.

For context, on Abeir the people of Unther spent a generation or two enslaved by dragons...so when they came back they were not happy to share space with the Dragonborn.

Nope. They were enslaved by genies and genasi. Not dragons. They were not happy with dragonborn because mulans are the most racist people of the FR.
