Forked Thread: A little PHB 2 info

I think the most likely scenario is:

Barbarian- Primal Striker (Rage as their damage-add mechanic)
Bard- Arcane Leader (pretty much confirmed at this point)
Druid- Primal Hybrid (2 builds let it be defender/striker or controller)
Inquisitor- Divine Striker (Melee or Ranged, Inquisition damage-add)
Shaman- Primal Leader (pretty much confirmed)
Sorcerer- Arcane Controller (pretty much confirmed)
Theurge/Thamateurge- Divine Controller (the more castery cleric)
Warden- Primal Defender (gets the ranger's magical stuff plus some primal defense)

We get 2 controllers, the druid is hybrid. This puts us a little light on defenders, but with Swordmage, we are actually pretty even over-all (well, as even as we are now). I think this follows most of the hints thrown out there.

and the second most likely scenario is:

Barbarian- Primal Defender (take damage for others abilities)
Bard- Arcane Leader (duh)
Druid- Primal Hybrid (striker/defender focused hybrid)
Inquisitor- Divine Striker (this is the more castery cleric, all ranged divine striking)
Shaman- Primal Leader (duh)
Sorcerer- Arcane Controller (duh)
Templar- Divine Defender (another defender with a slightly different focus)
Warden/Witch- Primal Controller (weather/nature-based control abilities)

In this possibility, we get all of the classic abilities ofthe druid- healing/buffing in the Shaman, Shapeshifting in the Druid, and Weather/Nature control in the Warden/Witch. The weakness this outcome has is the Divine Striker being the more castery cleric...we know we only have 2 controllers in the book, so with the Primal Controller, there is no divine controller. SO I call this scenario less likely.
