Forked Thread: The Druid makes me chew the furniture

I'm excited, but I'm just not that excited. I don't have a good read on what we're going to get with the druid. I think the legacy version of the druid is very problematic, and they'll have to take some of its stuff and give it to the other primal classes. That means that there's a fair chance that the things I like most about the druid won't be released on Monday- they'll be released at some later date under the name "Warden" or "Shaman."

In the meantime, I've been writing my own class that covers what I like about the druid. I'll put it up sometime this weekend as an "in progress" document in the house rules section. I don't think the real druid, or probably any class at all, will remotely resemble my preferences, and writing classes is fun, so that's where my energy is going.

I'm up every night at that time, so I always catch the DDI stuff when it hits the tubes.
Same as Rechan here (though in my case it is Eastern Canadian (Ontario)), but I am usually still on the laptop at midnight to begin with... Ahh, insomnia :P

As soon as I get the Playtest I bet I will already be working on refluffing and such to work for my settings.

I am normaly up for the monday relases...I look them over before I turn in, then do a full read through the next day...this one I want the full read through at 12:01

6 1/2 hours until the druid is released. Hmmm, I'm almost as curious to read the ToC to find out what a 4e "Mercykiller" is.
