I've gamed with that guy.....

.....actually, I once was that guy. I recall back in college one player couldn't find his regular miniature and instead of taking a similar one used one of the host's daughter's toy dolls instead. Drove me nuts! Not so much because of what it was but the scale was totally off. I've long since gotten over such trivial things, that Warhammer mini would have made a fine Balrog.

Retired from doing the daily strip. It still appears on Sundays.

This is what I get for not reading the Sunday funnies. Yup, there it was right at the top of the middle column. I could have been laughing at it 12 hours earlier. :p

He sure has a finger on the pulse of gaming. :)

Yup, he knows geek culture. The "World of Warquest" strips are funny too.

Awesome! It's also a gag on Warhammer. Aside from using a Chaos Space Marines model, to me at least it spoofed how some Warhammer players (including one or two of my friends) use cheaper models from other games because of the high cost of Games Workshop figures. The "purists" in this case being the official tournaments, which don't allow that, obviously. I quit the game years ago, so maybe they amended this stupid policy, but it used to be for official games, you had to have EVERYTHING shown on the model. Which when you combine the fact that maybe some games you want your commander to have a power sword and melta bombs and in a different game, a plasma pistol and regular chainsword; combined with the fact you're gluing these tiny pieces to the model each time... yeah, that annoyed the hell out of me.

EDIT: Chaos Demon. Got the unit confused with Khorne Berserkers, my bad.
