FR campaign idea: post your adventuring party so other GMs can use them

clockworkjoe

First Post
I'm running a Forgotten Realms campaign. Part of the campaign revolves around a new city that features a portal to a newly discovered demiplane. Naturally, dozens of adventuring parties show up to explore the demiplane, which fuels the economy of the city.

While I will make up some of the parties, I think it would be fun to use adventuring parties from other gaming tables as NPC parties. I'll only use most of the parties as background, saying that this or that party passed through a while ago.

How bout it?

Heres my FR group I DM for.

Cormarek- Gold Dwarf cleric of Dumothian (dwarf god of crafts)

Gath of Bhal- Half Orc Ranger Barbarian former Thayvian Gladiator fights with 2 bastard swords

Valin -Elf Archer Very Ugly scared when he was baby

Morgan -Paladin of Torm

This group was thrown together to help defend a Cormyrian Fortress in the Hullack forest. The characters are now all friends and adventure together. I hope that helps.

Here is another one

Grimm Sharpstore -Dwarven swashbuckler/Sea Captian

Joyleaf "Archer" Willowwinter -Elf Archer/Sean Captian also

Aton Rhiloni -Cleric/Divine Disciple of Finder Wyvrenspur

Redd Blazewood -Wizard/Archmage

These are my firends Living City guys, we alway adventure together through out the Realms. I hope this helps.

Well, not FR, but I'll "translate" the deity reference.

Female Elven Cleric of Laraya (Mielikki), using a darkwood longbow. Doesn't carry a shield. Archery feats. Name: Juliara. Personality: Very benevolent, but hates evil humanoids with her entire heart. Has wolf companion named lindo.

Gandar, Dwarven stubborn Illusionist with bat familiar named AJ. Has steel staff as weapon. Stubborn and pragmatic.

Dave, human fighter with bardic aspirations. Uses Spiked Chain w/ combat reflexes. Big guy, real brawler, easy going. Many war stories, most untrue. In his early thirties, rugged appearance.

Gregory, young human fighter with a bastard sword. Real inexperienced with everything ("ooh! Magic!")

Rav

Lady Thelsia- Necromancer from Thay and worshipper of Velsharoon. Fed up with her mentor and the Red Wizards, she travels the world in search of power over life and death. She is accompanied by Rose, her humble yet resourceful slave.

Florry- Gnomish inventor from the isle of Lantan and worshipper of Gond. He was thrown out of his learning academy for creating devices that were considered far too dangerous. Instead of returning home to face humiliation, he left for the mainland, seeking out new materials and ideas.

Dedelia- Former member of the Night Masks and worshipper of Shar. She and her partner botched a robbery job, leaving her partner dead and herself an enemy of the thieves guild. She currently lies low in Waterdeep, where she has taken up a job in the city watch.

here we go.......

Ung-Mutt; Ghostwise halfling Barbarian/Fighter (Lives in a barrel, carried by Rakeface.)
Thorgrim Ironsmasher; Mountain dwarf Fighter/Cleric of Tempus
Rakeface; 1/2 Orc Barbarian (Ung-Mutts partner in crime):D
Velinos Tree-Runner; Wild elf Ranger/Rogue/Deepwood Sniper
Victoria St. Mark; Human Sorcerer/Cleric of Mystra
Vincent Marko; Human Rogue

Have fun it is an interesting group to DM for, they all are great Players!

Zorath-male human fighter, big, dumb. Used to chase clerics of Cyriac and Thayan Wizards off Blackfeather bridge when he was a kid! Wields bastard and short sword.

Erik-male human paladin of Tyr. Trouble kid, found his calling with the god of justice. Real hard-ass with our rogue. Carries a longsword (what else?).

Lyle-male halfling rogue, a wizard with rope and knots. He'd get along pretty well with Erik if he had any kind of respect for authority. He's a fun little guy who loves daggers.

Dorgan-male gnome cleric/wizard (illusionist) of Baravar Cloakshadow. Dorgan irritates the party no end. He's constantly asking strangers if they'd like to see a magic trick! If he wasn't a cleric, they'd probably run him off! He carries a dagger

Asimar-male human fighter, average all around. Has great difficulty reconciling his natural good tendencies with the huge chip on his shoulder stemming from depravations against his family in Scardale. Carries a longsword.

Pretty archetypical party, but we had a couple of newbies and wanted to keep it simple.

Also...

"Tanner"-male elf wizard, power hungry and a manipulator with a mean streak. Trained in Silverymoon but on the run up in the interior of the Sword Coast because his partner (lackey) was sloppy burgalarizing a dwarven jeweler in the city.

Tarloth-male human rogue, the bumbling diplomat of the pair. Tarloth's curiosity and excessive doggedness is his Achille's heel. He presently has no clothes, no gear and no body hair because of it! He's lucky (99 on %) he still has his tongue! Tanner has gotten him out of so many scrapes, he follows the wizard around like a puppy dog! He's still useful, so Tanner hasn't "put him to sleep" yet. I'm sure it's coming, though. Tarloth's favored weapon is the rapier.

Fellowship of the Grand Tankard

Quintus - human cleric of Tymora
Raethe - human rogue/fighter
Kenon - human wizard/shadow adept
Tyrus - human cleric of Lathander (formerly of Hoar)
Joyuin - dwarf fighter/cleric of Clanggadin
Larissa - human ranger/lasher
Pyrite - gnome illusionist
Ssenkrad - human fighter/shadow dancer
Evee - moonelf fighter
Dire - half-orc barbarian

Click on the link...we have full stats, equipment, feats, ect for each character.

The Company of the Crescent Blade:

Rhaethiir N'Vyn - Leader-Evermeet gold elf male fighter4/wizard2/bladesinger2 (me) (very very smart, history expert)

Luikas -Dalelander wood elf male ranger9 (kinda dumb)

Melea -Evereskan moon elf rogue7/thief acrobat4 (shiny black rapier)

Az-Arian -Halruaan human male wiz8/spellfire channeller3 (has dreadloks, people after him)

Yarig -dwarf male fighter10 (plays wonderful harp music)

Abukhannen -Chultan human male barbarian10 (big and bald, big falchion)

Rumor has it that the name of this group comes from an incident where the rogue Melea killed a werewolf cleric of Malar using Rhaethiir's silver holy symbol of Corellon (a crescent moon), since the party lacked any magical weapons at the time.

Company of the Green Goblet

Based out of Tantras and named for the inn whose third floor they occupy, this band of heroes has done battle with the likes of the Zhentarim, the Church of Bane, the Red Wizards of Thay and other villianous types. Their travels have spanned the length and bredth of the Vast, as well as the Moonsea region and the Unapproachable East. The company is composed of the following characters:

1) Athan Trueheart (Human Paladin) - Paladin of Torm and Knight of the Golden Lion. Raised in Tantras and cared for by the church of Torm after his parents martyred themselves during the Time of Troubles.

2) Ghen Avenhoste, the Traveler (Human Wizard) - Wizard from Halruaa who has left his homeland to explore Faerun. Initially arrived in Tantras due to his curiousity about the city's dead magic zones.

3) Ilyena Markov (Human Wizard/Cleric/Hathran) - Rashemi Witch who has come to Tantras on business of her homeland. Charged with monitoring Red Wizard activity in the Vast.

4) Valgyr the Dark (Human Barbarian) - Rashemi Berserker charged with the protection of Ilyena Markov. Often filled with glowers and menacing looks.

5) Hawkspur (Tiefling Rogue/Sorceror) - Tiefling Rogue who's found a conscience buried beneath his sly and devilsh exterior. Associate of the Tantras thieves' guild, the Greyclaws. Often antagonistic towards Athan.

6) Aust Farstrider (Half-Elf Ranger) - Agent of the Harpers and a member of Mystra's Order of the Shooting Stars. Come to Tantras initially to investigate the Red Wizards and to rendevouz with Ilyena.

A rowdy bunch indeed.
