Regional sourcebooks a-plenty, but Champions of Ruin and the forthcoming Champions of Valor (*waves to Sean*) are arguably Forgotten Realms-specific "crunchy" books, even though I'm aware both are strongly tied to Realmslore - that's kind of the point of setting-specific crunch.Joshua Dyal said:But other than Monsters and Magic of Faerun, what other brand specific crunch books were there? Wasn't it right after that they started on the regional sourcebooks, which are still the common FR releases today?
Not me, either.Joshua Dyal said:Folks who want FR + Great Wheel are mostly folks who are more attached to Great Wheel than they are to FR, IMO.
Wow, three people? I guess I better go change my opinion!sanishiver said:Not me, either.

I dunno if it's fair or not. I don't know what difference it makes. I made it clear that my assertion was my opinion (even has the infamous IMO tag at the end of the statement) and it's based on discussions with local groups, online and elsewhere. Certainly three people popping in and saying, "Yeah, well not me," isn't going to change my view.Shade said:Now, now...that's not really fair, is it? I could just as easily make the opposite assertion and be no more or less correct. Of the 176 that voted as of the time of this post, few have actually posted to explain themselves.
