Let there be a murder (or faked murder) set up so the PC should take the fall, only to have the real perp. appear to smooth things over, if the PCs do what he tells them - i.e. the real perp. tries to black mail the party for a crime he or she committed.

He's probably a Melikkite. I heard a few of her followers were celestial hound archons that converted to CG. I could be wrong but I thought I saw that.

In any case Assimar druid is unusual but I think my Githzerai Paladin of the Silver Flame is WAY more unusual.

He belongs to a Comyrian noble family "blessed by Selune" where certain newborns have become aasimar every few generations. His family expected him to become a cleric of Selune, but the powers he gained from his initiation were a bit... different than anticipated.

Yes, I realize that Selune is not a "tradtional nature goddess" (despite being one of the co-creators of the world), but if a player hands me a detailed background story with lots of plot hooks, then who am I to argue?

Besides, all this is basically a set-up so that he can take the Shifter prestige class (which he has now started in) - and "changability" does definitely fall into the domain of Selune...

Forget what I said. I confused it with Polymorph. 3.0 Shifter (the one from Get Off My Lawn You Hippies - uhm, I mean, Masters of the Wild, of course ;-)) could turn into outsiders, anyway, the Master of Many Forms (3.5, Complete Adventurer) cannot.

Wildshape does use Polymorph, but not the possible shapes, these are dictated by Wild Shape.
