Okay, I'm lame - I downloaded the Trial version of the program to test it out before I buy. I'm trying to add some text to the map I made. I click on Text, draw in the box, write the name, and then click on "Tab" (as per the instructions) but when I do that, the text just disappears.

Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

What color do you have it set at? If the color is the same or close to the background color you won’t be able to see the text. Also you might check the font size, if you are creating a large map and have the font size set too small you won’t be able to see it. Those are the first two things that come to my mind. Hope it helps.

Thanks for your reply - you were right. I'm very new to using the program and couldn't figure out how to change the color of the text so it was in the same color as the continent I was drawing. Told you it was a lame question!
