Paul I 100% agree. I actually fast forwarded through some of the second part. I won’t spoil anything but my favorite parts was when there was some action and I wondered how the creature would fare against other fictional heroes
2/10 as it’s been done better and he clearly was given a grand budget

Really enjoyed the film when seeing it at the cinema and then again, rewatching it a week later on Netflix.
I read (or maybe saw in a review, I can’t remember) that GDT has wanted to make this film since the 90’s
Not surprising, given things like Shape of Water and Hellboy that he’d be interested in Frankenstein.

The costume design for Mia Goth’s character alone is reason to watch the film.

Just a reminder, Frankenstein isn’t the name of the monster, the real monster is the person that corrects you when you refer to the monster as Frankenstein.
