Green: It's in the Divine and the Defeated, when it comes to listing the followers of the Goddess Tanil. She doesn't favor this society nor does she favor the other one, Tanil's Chosen, who are group of devout, vegetarian celibate people.
I always thought Umberlee and Auril preferred female clerics as well.
As far as Selune is concerned, it isn't that there's a preference for female clergy, it's that they only seem to attract women.
There's a great scene in one of the Sembia Novels, Black Wolf, I think. It basically equates to the high priestess saying to the main character, "You're kind of cute. You know, our clergy is 90% female. Wanna join? It'd be really fun..." I'm pretty sure she actually winks at him.
And I think the elven goddess Angarradh prefers females as well. Pretty strange that the women are so sexist. Something about fertility rites I guess.
