Stat Blocks

I am developing the stat block for the monster library. Does anyone have a preference on the stat block layout? If you didnt already know wizards changed it up on the 3.5. Just looking to see if anyone has a preference.

$10.00? Anyone who wants to complain about that can do me a favor and just shut up.

Stat block preference? Monster Manual (3.5) or Dungeon magazine style is fine with me.

If you ever want to do a much easier one for Castles and Crusades I, and probably a couple of other dozen DM's, would buy it. I say easier because there is a TON less material and the info is simpler. Much like 1E stat blocks. Plus you will already have all the "engines" written out, just need to put in the new parameters. Then just set it up so I can add the spells and magic items I use/like.

Castles and Crusades

Hmmmm I have never played Castles and Crusades but if its as easy as you say then I can easliy pull things out and change them around for a Castles and Crusades feal.

Nice application, I like how I can edit all the various information.

I would gladly pay 10 bucks to use this the next time I run a 3rd edition game.

I would also be interested in a C&C version.

I like the newest stat blocks, I find them easier to use with relevant information grouped together.

App

Hi Kelro, then you are going to like the 3.5 update. I just finished the tweaks to the spell library for version 3.5 and I added the monster block. I also tied the monster library to the initiative worksheet so you can select specific monsters (Oh and I put in a way to change the init for the monster should you feel the need to) Thanks Treebore.

If all goes well I should have the update ready by the end of next week followed shortly after (free for those who buy the update, just in case you are wondering) the game mechanics interface so you can change the rules for the players library if you want.

Gald everyone is enjoying it.

Data Entry

The data entry portion of this project is kicking my butt. I would really prefer to be working on the applciaiton so if you or anyone you know is interested in giving me a hand with the data import I would appreciate it. I would be willing to give you a free copy of the updates and your name in the credits, if you wouldnt mind helping port all this new info over.

The spell Library took almost 10 hours to change and make sure everything was ok. Currently I need data entry for the feats, skills, magic items, equipment and the big monster library. I would also like someone to proofread the new spell library.

The only requirement is you have to have microsoft access to open the librarys. If your interested send me an email. support@digitalbluefrog.com

Thanks

I've puttered around with this some, it seems to be a pretty neat program all told. I appreciate the work you've put into it. You're off to a very good start

WARNING, CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM AHEAD *BA-WEEP BA-WEEP*

The character creation is nice, despite the light sprinkling of typos. It would be great to be able to add in new classes... it's almost possible to do an entire sheet for a non-core class with the current program, but it involves a lot of class-shuffling in unlocked mode and adding/subtracting skills.

It would also be nice if the preloaded skills included the normal knowledge subclasses as well, such as dungeoneering. It also seems a little funny that stabilize self is listed as a skill when it's prohibited to every class

Resizeable windows and subwindows would make it a lot easier to read the information. For instance, try to read the skill information on the Astral Deva. It would also be nice to see monster alignment.
