Sounds like a great deal! However, I do not see a mention of this offer on their web site...

can anyone (else) confirm this?
You are not buying it! You are trading in two potentially crappy movies you may regret owning, or know you won't want. If you've got extra movies lieing around that you know you won't want to watch again, this is a great deal. If every movie you own is near and dear to your heart, then this is not a great deal. There are other ways to get this movie cheap or free before the Novemebe release. I believe if you test drive a Kia, you can get a free DVD or VHS as well.Furn_Darkside said:Umm.. isn't the LOTR dvd that is going to be released in November going to have all the extra's including the cut scenes?
Why buy this one at all?

I think that the two versions come with different extras - the documentaries, "making ofs", and whatnot. The last I heard, there wasn't supposed to be any overlap of material betwixt the two.Furn_Darkside said:Umm.. isn't the LOTR dvd that is going to be released in November going to have all the extra's including the cut scenes?
