For those inspired by the True20 rulebook to buy the hardcopy rulebook...
My suggestion: get some of the other True20 stuff before a hardbound copy of the rules, unless you're really inspired to create a lot of stuff on your own. True20 is a super toolkit, but having some existing stuff in your back pocket is very helpful.
The True20 Bestiary is very very very useful if you're looking at D&D conversions or running D&D-ish games. It's basically the OGL Monster Manual, translated into True20. It also has additional conversion guidelines for various spells & feats from 3.5.
The True20 Companion is full of awesome and pwn. If you're tired of the 3 base paths (classes) in the rulebook & you're interested in additional layers of customization, that's one great thing about the Companion. Then the sub-sections on various genres... they are awesome.
For D&D-style True20, you might also find the True20 Fantasy Paths PDF to be useful in looking at how to construct D&D-style character classes with True20.
