"one from the old world, before it all was destroyed and covered with water. And please don't ask me too much about the old world, it's one of the reasons I live as a hermit fisherman."

Grin, hell that's harsh "Chat first, revelry later. It's too early to be knocking back shots of that on a more than occassional basis," Cough! "I'm sure it puts hairs on your chest, but I don't want hairs on my chest."

Taloquar shrugs,

"Ye need nae fret on tha', m'friend. World is what it is, an' it's nae the old world anymore. Any questions I ha' will be aboot the world t'day. That's the world I have t'live in."

ooDM: uh Gwolf, where is ron?

IDM: "ah, a good man then, all these blasted historians asking about everythingm, and all of the old ones encouraging them by telling them things. I just like to live here where it's nice and quiet except the sound of the birds and the waves."

Ohf! Good stuff that, if a little rough.
Oh, he's talkling to me?
"Oh, I don't know. Let's talk about the Sea Devils, like, how many do we think there are and what the hell they want. Sorry, gone to head."
Thalia blinks.

"Sanghuin, in my experience," says Farear, sounding knowledgeable (and for once he really is), "Want power. Whether that power comes in the form of slaves, territory, or treasure (to be alphabetical about it) doesn't really matter, 'slong as they got it and no one else does. Really a hateful race, them."

"well...no one is really sure what they want, and Kalimdor isn't really doing much to help, so all they're doing right now is sinking and looting ships. Some might be around these islands, hardly anyone goes out alone anymore, and I bet the reason you're here is because some smart ship captain hired some guards."

"Perhaps ye could tell me o' this island. I ha' never been here before, an' I would like to learn of it. Have ye lived here long?"

Taloquar will while away an hour or too, talking with the old man of the island and his life here. If there are any interesting bits of information, he will store them away for future attention, but not pursue them immediately.
