How do they know I actually paid for the DRM file to begin with and that I don't have a pirated DRM copy?

Printing out the receipt perhaps?

Again, I've never actually tried to do this at a Kinkos in the US. It may be something that in theory works but in practice doesn't, or is simply too much of a hassle for most poeple.
