Frukathka's out of control

There is also a feature on ENworld, that enables someone to make some poster disappear from his viewing. Well, I never used this feature, and don't intend to use it in the future. However, just think that some others may use it. Think about this nightmare: when you come on ENworld and post relentlessly, in fact practically nobody sees your posts... :uhoh:

I am aware. I also know though, that the poster doesn't completely disappear. There is short snippet of info that one sees telling you the the person you want to ignore has posted there.

I think Turanil makes a good point here. Nobody says anything about some other people who post a lot, Crothian quickly comes to mind of course. I don't want to use Crothian as the only example but here but the cool thing about his posts is that he almost always has some useful to add to the thread. If you just spam a lot of posts, it becomes easy for people to just ignore them altogether. When you do post in the game forums, you usually have something to add.

Just take this as friendly advice.

You know, if I added Frukathka to my ignore list, I think I could get through all the new posts on ENWorld in half the time. That's not a bad idea!

An analysis of Frukathka's last 100 posts:

d20 System: 1
General: 2
Art Gallery, Cartography & Miniatures Painting: 1
Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Books Movies & TV: 2

Off-Topic: 94

84 of those posts were made TODAY!!! And that day isn't over yet!

On the 14th, you had at a minimum of 96 posts. The user history doesn't go far enough back, but it's safe to say it could easily have been over 100 posts.

And I agree with Glassjaw, I consider it bad form to write multiple responses to a thread, when one large post is so much more concise.

Umm, there is no way I could ever beat Crothians postcount. It would take years. And I do not babble inanely all the time!

At your current rate of 90 posts per day, this time next year you'll have 38,544 posts.

That's almost as bad as, say, making a thread specifically calling out another poster just because you have a personal disapproval of their posting habits. :p

Okay, I've obviously learned a lesson here. No more than 5 posts in a row in any thread. Otherwise though, even if you subtract the 32 in a row from the hivemind, there is still a lot of posts. And I really don't see it matter whether they are in off topic or not. Anyway, rest assured that I will not post prolificly like I did this morning in the hivemind.

That is all.

Maybe you could simply bribe Michael Morris so he artificially increases your postcount by, say, 500 posts for 10$? It would be much easier and faster, and wound't irritate anyone. :p

You certainly are a laugh riot Turanil!

It would irritate the board members who cannot so easily afford such a post raise and have to go through all the hard work of raising it the old fashioned way.
