I know Darth likes to play 'catch-up' with the hivemind when she gets the chance.

It's the hive, and there's little important in it. I generaly find that if my last post was more than a page back, I might look for it and see if anyone responded, but otherwise ignore the rest of the hive till the current page. Otherwise it's almost like walking into a conversation and commenting on the topic they were talking about 30 minutes ago, but stoped talking about 15 minutes ago.

Do you even post anywhere other than off-topic? I have to believe there are better all-purpose message boards other than ENWorld.

Kemrain's rule is three. I don't think there's any specific number, though. Different people have different ideas of what's too many.

I love it when people mention me positively in a thread I haven't even posted to yet. You rock, JDiv.

Fru, you do post a lot. While I'm not bothered by it, seems other people are. I don't think it's terribly polite to start a thread about you like this, instead of talking to a mod and having the mod talk to you privately, but what do I know? Trimming it down to 5 posts in a row would probably get them off your back. 3 in a row would make you imitating me, and that's flattery, so that'd be cool. I use the edit button and paste a reply into a recent message, when I post while someone else posts, if I can see the topics going togther- you could try that, too. Having peple upset with out over something so trivial sucks.

I don't wanna see people upset at you, or you upset at them. It bothers me that people argue over things like this on the boards. Really, we have email for this, and mods.

I just tried (only to test this out) and indeed you cannot be ignored.

I also throw in my hat of annoyance with "ME TOO!" posts (which would be ironic if that was all I wrote, but sadly, I just gotta add content... it's like a habit.)
