Starting with an example character, and his key points:
Bob, Ftr6, BAB +6/+1
Feats: Quick draw
(Yeah, that was a heck of a lot, eh?
)
Bob is in melee with someone, using his longsword, and the full attack action. He attacks (with BAB +6), hits, and kills the opponent. I know he can take a 5ft step before making his second attack.
Can he drop his longsword and quick draw a reach weapon so that he can attack another opponent with his iterative attack who was 15ft away at the start?
Can he drop his longsword and quick draw a bow so that he can attack another opponent with his iterative attack who was farther away, effectively allowing Bob to take a melee attack and ranged attack with his iterative attacks and one full attack action?
I can't find any rules that suggest this doesn't work, and it seems like it could add a cool cinematic effect to the game.
Any opinions, objections, or posts saying this was discussed only a few days ago?
