[Full] Shackled City Adventure Path 3.5

Vigwyn, I looked over Dry Spell, and it looks like you've got a great game going on there! You'll be welcome here as a player. What sort of character did you have in mind?

Thanks! We're really enjoying it, but it's almost over. The PCs are getting ready to fight the BBEG right now. ;)

I'm thinking dwarven cleric...

Are we sticking to the three core rulebooks? If not, what other books might be allowed?

Mimic, here and here are a couple of websites you might find useful. :)

I'm interested if there's still room. For a character, I'd like to at least see a couple other PCs ideas, though I'm thinking about maybe a Rogue/Fighter Swashbuckler type...

Don't know yet... We have a dragon disciple and a dwarven cleric so far.. maybe a straight wizard. Or possibly a paladin. What are the character creation rules?

A Dragon Disciple would be available to you at higher levels, as I do allow most PRC's. For now, a 1st level sorcerer would be great. What race are you thinking?

Yea I do have a couple of the 3.0 books but like I said I have seen and played 3.5. So I do kind of know whats what, you'll just have to help fill in the blanks.

As for what race that would depend on you, I have always liked the exotic races like an Aasimilar, Tiefling or even a Githyanki (not to sure if I would want to play a sorcerer, more likely a monk) but if you only want the standard then and elf or halfling (possibly a sub class if they are allowed).

One doesn't have to be familiar with anything pertaining to the Adventure Path, correct? If so, I'd like to play in your campaign. Depending on what books are allowed, I'd choose my character so that it fills out a role yet not covered by the rest of the group.

Ryltar, you are correct...no familiarity with this series of adventures is needed. In fact, I'd prefer it that way. The game setting is functionally generic, although the pantheon of gods does default to those in the PHB (which is, the Greyhawk deities). Still, the geography and NPCs are all non-specific to any campaign setting. All that really matters, is that your fledgling PC winds up in Cauldron, a city built in the bowl of a dormant volcano.

You are the fourth player, so go ahead and shoot me a concept, when you have decided what niche you might like to fill.

Material from just about any book from a major publisher will be allowed. Rather than make a list of all the books I own (a lot!), I'll just suggest that you throw out an idea, and let me say yea or nay.

Dwarven cleric would be good...tell me more.

Ankh-Morpork Guard, you are the fifth player. Your idea looks good, please continue to develop it, and let me know what you want to do.

Ah, yes, character creation rules.

1st level characters, no evil alignments.

We will use a 28 point non-standard buy for stat generation (Per the DMG), with racial modifers applied after those points are expended.

Maximum hp at level one, average starting gold by class.

Most published sources for material will be allowed, but check with me for approval first.

Feel free to ask any further questions, if I've left anything out.
