Fully Painted Warforged Necromancer (that I sculpted)

Gospog

First Post
So, a loooooooong time ago, I sculpted this Warforged Necromancer to use in our Winter Gaming sessions. He's based off of some commissioned artwork that I hired DMAC for. Here's the artwork (he did a fantastic job):

And so, after sculpting the mini months ago...

...He is finally painted!

His base is not completely done yet, of course. I still need to sculpt his familiar, Zaraxis, the Brass Toad! I left a little extra room on the base, in case Zaraxis turns out a little bigger than I plan.

So, that's my boy...what do you think?

Thanks, pogre! As the sculptor, all I see when I look at him are the mistakes. ;)

It's great to hear that you like him!

Hey Gospog,
Nice job! The finished piece is great. I think it will look great on the table in battle with Khyber's children or something.

Game ON!

How much did it set you back [total, all supplies needed] to make it?

Hmmm, interesting question.

Well, I buy my green stuff in bulk, so that probably cost me about .50 cents, if that.

The copper wire armature probably cost even less than that.

The skull is from a Reaper skull pack. As one of eight, it also probably set me back about .50 cents.

The scabbard base is from a VOID Junkers weapon pack. That pack had tons of weapons in it. We'll call the scabbard .25 cents.

So, if we round up, I suppose I spent almost two dollars on this guy. (and several months of effort) When I think about it like that, it's pretty cool. ;)

Thanks for your interest.
