So I'm not one of the folks who has been begging/demanding psionics, but I'm nevertheless pretty drawn to the Aberrant Mind build. Combined with some of the new feats, I'm excited to try it.

It seems like the sub-class is, in some ways, a response to the criticism of the sorcerer class:
  • It gets a free cantrip plus 2 free spells known of each level (up through 5)
  • Many of its abilities don't require sorcery points to be spent, although in some cases you can.

One potentially fun idea I had with the 18th level ability, Warping Implosion. Combine with the 14th level ability, Revelation in Flesh, to fly to and hover over a well or other pit. Then cast Warping Implosion to pull all creatures into the middle...and over the well. How would you rule this as a DM: it all happens in parallel, so only one creature can "occupy" the space over the well (assuming it is 5' diameter), stopping all the other creatures in adjacent spaces, and only then does the first creature fall into the well.

Or does each creature "instantaneously" fall into the well, potentially causing them all to fall in?

I think I'd like to make it pretty cinematic, where victims make a secondary save to avoid falling, but subsequent ones crash into them, potentially knocking them off. Could be fun.

What other fun things could you use as the focus of this ability? Sphere of Annihilation? Lava? Extra-dimensional portal? Are there any spells it synergizes with well?
