"Functions while wildshaped" modifier?

Quick question:

A couple items in the MIC, such as the airwalker sandals, specifically function while in wild shape. How much would you charge as a modifier to make another item function while in wildshape? 30% more? 50%? Double?

It just seems to me that post-errata, a druid that wants to spend any time using his wild shape form for combat will be extremely vulnerable unless he covers himself with buff spells to replicate the various stat enhancements, resistance bonuses, AC modifiers, etc. This gets even worse with the Shapeshift variant druid. (as for combat purposes, the infinite uses doesn't make up for the loss of raw power)

If it allows something like putting on a pair of footwear, wilding shaping, gaining its benefits, and being able to still use the footwear slot then I would likely charge a lot.

If all it does is just save you the time of having to take the item off, wild shape, and then put the item back on though I would charge only a small amount.

Yes, I am refering to having items meld, but still provide their bonus.

An alternative option would be have the item specifically not meld. An example of this could be a collar that specifically says "If the wearer wildshapes while wearing this item, it does not meld, but instead re-sizes to fit the wearer, and continues to function normally."

Would you price these differently? (I would assume yes, since in case #1, the item is invisible, allowing you to sneak/scout in animal form while being less obvious)

I would have it not meld, and cost 10% more. You can get incorporeal gear for +10%, so it seems like a good starting figure.

Where do you find this price increase for incorporeal gear?

You don't even need to have items like that.. according to the rules-lawyering powergamers all you do is strip off your gear, then wildshape, then have your party members put the items on you in your new animal form (the general opinion is that they resize to fit you). You'll then gain the benefits of wearing them as an animal and keep all of your buffs and goodies. Gotta love dubious rule interpretations from the Wizards CO Boards ;)

Just about everything?

No, make that everything.

Vow of Poverty must be very popular in your game if no one is allowed to wear anything.

That must be the largest nudist colony ever.
