Our party rogue in Ravenloft used the rod and got the 1/12" effect...however it doesnt' end there. While the party was fighting an epic battle, the rogue also had an epic battle...with a rat!!

When the battle was done, the rogue carved up the rat and offered it as a sacrifice to the dark powers. He was returned to his regular size, although certain curses were laid upon him for later.

Hello All,

Alexander Ladon the 1/2" Wizard here, and aside from this being the best night of Dungeons and Dragons that I have ever played, I would just like to say that I very much look forward to taking every advantage of the +38 that I now get to my hide check.

As a question of interest though...

Which should I choose as a method of getting around the dungeon? (Keep in mind that this is the World's LARGEST Dungeon)
Walk.

Seriousy. One of the oddities of size-changing effects in D&D is that they have absolutely no effect upon creature speed. Enlarge Person, Reduce Person, increasing a critter's hit dice - no speed adjustment.

Basically, your 1/2" tall wizard has a hyperactive metabolism crammed into that small frame, that lets him zip about, legs moving at a blur, at a speed of 30', with no more effort than walking.

Or you can get a pair of boots of striding and springing, which aren't nearly as good for your purposes, and cost more, but have the advantage of being core.

Boots of Skating (Expanded Psionics) would be a fantastic visual effect.

Too bad you're not a wu-jen with Giant Size. It doesn't modify your size by a +, it just sets it to something big. Still, you can maybe do the same thing with whatever version of Polymorph is canon this week.

Obviously you should have this made into an enchanted sombrero with phrase activation. "Engalé Engalé Yeee-Haaaaw!"

Isn't that Andele? Speedy Gonzales makes me laugh.

Somehow cartoon characters from a period before Political Correctness are just funnier.

"Yeppa, Yeppa, Ándale, Ándale, Yeee-Haaaw!"
