PC = Pirate Cat has come up a few times, too, just to confuse things ("I was typing on my PC about my PC when PC closed the thread :( ")

"Klunk", too, might need explanation. On the other hand, maybe not.

IBTL has been coming up too (In Before The Lock). Stupid edition wars.
 

P&P is sometimes also PnP.

Now I nitpick, because the idea is to get stuff across to new people quickly: In my experience, "beer and pretzels" is most commonly used to denote a very casual playstyle - playing where the social get-together of having beer and such is the real focus of activity. Not all P&P is Beer and Pretzels.

I was very confused by this one initially... I had to do extensive google searching to find a definition! Everyone kept talking about BECMI D&D as if it were a third party product that I'd overlooked...
