Oh, Jeebus Christo! All these visual design-type DMs get all the "ooohhhsss!" and "aaahhhhs!".
What about us writer-type DMs? Why don't we get an adoration with our use of adjectives and adverbs?
Gabe spends however many hours making pretty planets for his game, while the rest of us will spend hours writing out an incredible descriptive text block about the history of such-and-such glowly skull throne, and two words into it someone will yell out "Boring! I want to sit on the skull throne now!" or "Can I pry off the skulls? How much are they worth individually and together?" or "The glow means it's magical, right? Can I siphon off the magic?" or "I attack the skull throne. It is obviously a monster and worth XP."
