Gaining Domain Powers

I would like to know of any ways to give a Cleric a domain granted power, aside from acquiring an additional domain.

I am aware of Planar Touchstone, I was just looking for something with a little less baggage.

Bonus Domain in Complete Divine does this, but it requires you to be really high level. Arcane Disciple in the same book is much lower level, but all it does is give you access to the spells, not the powers.

I was afraad that there was no simple, low-level way to get domain powers, in spire of them being often compared to feats. Thank you for aid, though.

Some Prestige classes give you extra domains (Warpriest, Radiant Servant of Pelor etc). That inclused access to the domain spell list too.

In terms of gaining a domain power for the price of a feat... If I were DMing you would need to tread carefully. Some of the domain powers (Celerity, Travel and Dream off the top of my head) are more powerful than others. You would need to choose a domain associated with your god, or related to your character's background and pantheon. I may still veto it if it seems to be overly-powerful relative to the rest of the party.

TBH, I just wanted to gain the domain powers of Inquisition (+4 dispel) and Purification (+1 CL to Abjuration) in order to boost my dispelling. This is mostly because I have not noticed any feats that actually do power up dispelling.

Also, Celerity's power can be acquired by a regional feat (requires some effort/character planning, but not too hard), although I do agree that the other two would be quite good in feat form.

I'd be happy to let that go if I were DMing and it fit with your character. Dispelling and counter-spelling are things that should be encouraged as I never see it often enough.

If it turned out to be too powerful with a +4 to dispel checks (i.e. you were just dispelling all the magical traps or puzzles) I would consider downgrading it to a +2 bonus.

I would take that feat, like Spell Pen for dispel.
