Game Hybrids That Should Not Be

Vampire: The Legend of the Five Dragons:

Ancient Japan today. Vampires are real, but ninja of course aren't *nudgenudgewinkwink*. The characters - all vampires from one of the great clasn, noble undead - have to cope with their undead state while ruling the Empire, but mostly just going into dungeons, killing things, taking their stuff, and getting all angsty about it.

Each character needs to take a race - elf, dwarf, halfling, human, gnome - and a clan - the Nosferatu Crab, the Toreador Crane, Ravnos Scorpions, Gangrel Lions, Malkavian Dragons, Tremere Phoenix, or even Cathayan Unicorns - as well as one or more classes. But beware of the Shadowland Sabbat, who will Taint you with The Beast.

So, how would that work? You can change shape at will, but each shape must be an elf? Might get a bit repetitive, but it could be worse - after all, elves are a really great race, second to one, and every shapeshifter that is not already one should try to skinwalk into the elven realm! ;)

Actually,

It's a reference to Talislanta's old marketing campaign slogan "No Elves!"

Did you perhaps mean Carp?

Antimon (kids collect Elements to pit them against each other to become the greatest Chemist of all, and everyone hunts the elusive 51st element)

Clue: Star Wars. Instead of looking for the killer, you look for the Sith Lord, what his Cheesy Sith Name is, and who his Disciple is. "I Suspect Mace Windu, as Dark Malicious, with Padavan Bill.

Whoops. I meant Crab. Freudian slip probably, thinking of how those crab berserkers smell.

Or I mixed up Crab and Carp (which is associated with a family that is half Crab, half Crane - which is like a mix between Elf and Dwarf)
