Game Snacks

pistachios
goldfish crackers (the cheddar variety)

Both of which double as counters in a pinch!

We must be boring, because we seem to only drink water.

All chips, although Sun Chips have become "the" chip lately, white cheddar cheesy poofs, and bagels and cream cheese.
Drinks, diet coke, water, lemonade, root beer.

*mouth salivating*
must get snacks and roll dice :D

Healthy bunch, aren't we?

Chips and salted nuts are still nr 1. Washed down with diet coke and the odd experimental bottle of liquids.
Kebab is also pretty popular for the bigger appetite, followed closely by pizza. (We don't consider Pizza Hut pizza pizza)

We have tried healthy snacks on occasion, but were afraid of the consequences of following these pracitece through.
Let's face it: who wants to play bingo on a wednesday afternoon?:D

Snacks aren't big in my group. Usually some people (inc. me) order pizzas though, but I don't count them as snacks. They're healthy and nutritious food.

Soft drinks are another thing. I usually consume from 1.5 to 3 litres of pepsi or coke during a session. I usually buy whichever happens to be cheaper, and coke if there is no difference in price.

About 50% of the group drinks beer during the games. I sometimes take one or two, but thats pretty rare.

You know we have white, double-choc white and caramel timtams these days, don't you?

(Whilst drooling .... caramel timtams) You are aware that torture violates UN conventions aren't you?

Seedless grapes
Gala apples
Original Goldfish crackers
Cheese (usually of the mozzarella variety)
Turkey Hill iced tea (couldn't resist the plug!)

I've decided recently that sitting on my arse eating cookies and other junk was only contributing negatively to my efforts to get back into great athletic shape. Go figure. So I've switched over to the above in an effort to eat lighter and healthier. We usually break for meals mid-session, and over the summer we've taken to grilling burgers and dogs. Otherwise, we'll make a Sheetz run or hit up Arby's. Man, I can't wait to play again!...

We are a group of five players. Each time we play at another players home. Normally, we start with a nice dinner -cooked by the host- accompanied by a glas of wine -or two. After that, we start playing. One or two hours later, someone comes up with some cheese and fresh bread or crackers, maybe chips, sometimes grapes or whatever is at hand. Sometimes another bottle of wine...
That helps us to stay alive during some hours of gaming.

We try and stay away from TOO MUCH junk food:

Grapes
Goldfish
M&M's
Cheese (usually a marinated mozzarella or mozz & pepperoni roll - or some other variety - Gouda, cheddar, etc..)
Other fruit - apples, oranges, plums, etc...

Drinks:
I always get a slurpee before the game.
Rest of the group actually usually drinks water or seltzer - very rarely do they drink soda. Sometimes fruit juices. Beer comes out sometimes as well.

When we order out it's often pizza, but also just as often Indian or Thai.

My group usually just brings whatever they want. Sometimes we all order Pizza together (or Cinnamon Sticks from Pizza Pipeline *drool*) I've gotten tired of pizza however, so I've taken to bring my own food. Last week I brought a couple of Lunchables cheese, turkey and cracker things...There is usually quite a bit of Gatoraid flowing at our games, and my friend has a Water Cooler in his house, so we drink a lot of that. We've barbequed before. Sometimes my friends girlfriend will make ham and beans. Yummy!!!

Before I begin, one of the ladies in our group is a vegetarian, so we try and be kind and not devour the fine flesh of animals in front of her.

Cheese Pizza Rolls
Mozarella Cheese Sticks
Doritos (sometimes even those baked ones)
Coke
Vanilla Coke
Diet Coke
Diet Vanilla Coke
Kool-Aid
Occasionally raw veggies and ranch dip
And when we have money left over from buying books: Pizza!

We've also done hoagies (sub sandwiches, grinders, heroes, whatever you want to call them) and yes, for those we just made our own, so if you wanted meat, you piled it on and threw the bits that fell out at the vegetarian. No, just kidding, we wouldn't waste meat like that. ;)
