Game Suggestions Wanted!

Age of Empires 1 and 2 are pretty good and Age of Mythology is great (story mode on Age of Mythology is my latest addiction).

There is a game called Total Annihilation Kingdoms that I found for $10 (with expansion CD) that is fun. I see it all over the place in bargan bins.

If you like puzzle/adventure games, look for a copy of Sam And Max hit the road. That's a fun, clever little game that actually has quite a bit of play in it.

Another one in the adventure game genre that always gets praise is Grim Fandango, which I depressingly have yet to play.

My suggestions would be:
Thief 1&2 (first person sneakers)

Freedom Force (superhero squad based strategy game, kind of like x-com with superheroes, with voices by our very own Sagiro)

Serious Sam the 1st and 2nd Encounter (FPS that's nothing but shooting stuff).

Welverin

p.s. what's the last major game you got? It's important for knowing how far back to go.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

I'm certainly going to take a go at Total Annihilation, being as me and my flatmate both found our copies. Network fun ahoy!

Temple of Elemental Evil.

It's got a few bugs and other problems (although a patch should be out this week), but it's the most accurate representation of the D&D Rules in a computer game since the old AD&D Gold Box games over a decade ago.
