Games you can win go in "Undefeated"

Dear Dragon Magazine,

It has become crystal clear that WoTC is packaging their minis for their mini game, not for D&D players who might want to buy some monster figures.

You at Paizo have a magazine for "games you can win". It is called "Undefeated" - maybe you have heard of it?

Please keep your mini game scenarios out of my Dragon Magazine.

No, I do not find the room (battle)maps suitable or usable, or frankly even that interesting for my D&D game, but thanks for the thought.

Thank you, and keep up the (otherwise) great work.

PS- Loved the halfbreed templates.

Your loyal retail buying fan,

I don't know how useful that'll turn out to be - and, BFG, if the tone might cause some abrasion, but... for what it's worth, I'm wholeheartedly in agreement with you on this one, and I've bought a number of the minis. Wasn't happy to find a feature on the mini game wasting precious space in my magazine, either.

Edit: Pogre, no, it's not. It's a handful of small - 6 x 8, IIRC - square grid maps for the minis game.

Thanks Terraism!

I was really teasing BFG a little;) ALthough, I have to admit if it was a mass combat scenario I might buy it.

I think BFG's point is totally legitimate.

Are they still making undefeated? The D&D minis do seem like an excellent opportunity to expand that magazine.

I'm not worried about my "tone" - I'm not running for office, or insulting anyone. I was going for funny irony anyway... - Oh well, it's late...

- If Paizo wants Undefeated to be sucessful, they should be featuring the appropriate hot products in THAT magazine.

The scenarios presented are NOT for mass combat - they are room based skirmishes, I'm presuming from the Maps - I did not read the article, as I am not interested...

edit - too slow with the reply foo tonight.. .

I also do not find any value in the Miniatures sections in Dragon. I would prefer the space be used for other things.
