Gamescience Dice?

Too bad they aren't beautiful like the Gems, right?

Well, as I mentioned, I have a soft spot for fugly & unusually-colored dice.
Gamescience has some of the craziest dice colors on the market, which is another reason I love 'em. The crazy greens, turquoises, yellows, hot oranges, and purples are like crack to me.

Hidden back stock of game science dice?!?!

Please inform us of any of the interesting finds.

I am especially interested in the 20 siders marked 0-9 twice. I think those were game science gem dice.

Would those go up on the Amazon store? Would there be a way to reserve any possible finds? Please?

I just wanted to resurrect this thread to say that Gamestation.net is a heck of a company.

My first order arrived basically two days after I placed it - it was amazingly fast.

Although there was a problem with the order (I got tangerine orange dice instead of the ruby red ones, and one of my dice was defective), they replied back to my email the day I sent it - a Saturday - and are correcting the issue today.

I've already placed another order (my gaming group all wanted their own sets), and look forward to doing so again in the near future!

Our group is waiting eagerly to get some dice. Being in Australia, the postage is a little large, so we are doing a big order, but have to wait for a few of the desired GameScience sets to (hopefully!) get back in stock.

I always pick up a set of Zocchi dice at Gen Con (from Lou himself, the man can sell)....will Gamestation be at Gen Con?

My two sets (smokey quartz, wisteria purple) arrived today as well. Aside from a flaw on the edge of the purple d4 (there are two nicks breaking the line), they look great. What grain quality of sandpaper should I use on the blemishes?

My favorite (and most used) d20 is a GameScience smoke quartz that is about 25 years old. It still pretty darn crisp after all these years!

What I really want is a set of Gamescience precision edge dice with a d6 that has pips instead of numbers. Actually, I want a set and about another 2 dozen d6 with pips. Is that even possible, or am I going to have to find casino dice for that?

Thought I would relay a quick story about my order.

I ordered a 7-dice set (fire garnet) and then a mix of other dice (sapphire) including a d5 which I wanted... just because.

The Fire set (which is a deep orange in the pics) was more red/pink than orange - so I emailed them and let them know I would simply like to swap them back for Topaz instead -- I was more than willing to pay more if there was a price difference and send the dice back at my own cost as well.

Anyway, Laura got back to me right away to let me know that not only had she sent me the Topaz dice, but I could simply keep the dice I already had! I will be giving them to a friend who can't afford to be getting new dice.

So yea, a very positive experience for me and I wanted to relate the story and my thanks again, here.

The dice are great and I will be breaking them in this Friday (well, the Topaz dice will have to wait till next weekend)
