Gaming Group Turns 23!

Yes, it's that time of year again. My Sunday night gaming group was founded on May 24th, 1982. Two nights ago we played our 943rd game.

Excellent! It must be a fun experience to have a gaming group that has existed that long. Oh the stories you must have from past adventures!

Dude, that has to be some kind of record. The longest I've played with a single group is like 4 years.

That's awesome. I've been gaming one a week or more since 1980, but never with the same players for more than a few years... although I've had some core gamers last longer than that, but the groups change around us.

Late last year, our gaming group had it's 25th and last anniversary. Then the person that had been the major GM all that period said, basically, 'That's it, I'm done with gaming' and we've heard little or nothing from him since then.

I have one friend I've been gaming with since...1980, so 25 years now, but nothing like a whole group or even a name (do you have a name for your group?). Pretty impressive!
