Gaming Hotspots in Portland and Seattle?

Hi gang. Last time this year I went to Halifax and around Nova Scotia for vacation. This year I'm going to the other corner of the continent and will be in Portland Oregon and Seattle Washington!

Seattle being the HQ for WotC theres gotta be some awesome gaming/hobby stores there! Anyone from there or know the areas wanna point me to some good places?

A while back, Wizards actually used to have at least one store (maybe even a chain?) in the Seattle area. It was pretty sweet. Sadly, it's long defunct. So, sorry, I can't really help you, I just wanted to wax nostalgic.

Man, those Battletech VR pods were fricking awesome.

FYI I'm looking for any sort of gaming/hobby/comic "FLGS"... or even just cool non-gaming places to visit actually, not just D&D centric if it wasn't clear in the first post.
