Very cool! Thanks.

And thanks for the Arvo Part rec.

There are a couple of other pieces I'd put in my top 99 darkest classical, including Baba Yaga's Hut (duh!) from Mussorgsky/Ravel and first movement from the Piano Concerto in A minor from Grieg.

A great deal, but I am saddened it does not have Stravinsky's Infernal Dance of Koskitche, from the Firebird. Perhaps the most evil piece of music I've ever had the joy of listening to.

I just listened to #69: Song of the Cheribim For Mixed Choir (1986)

It is one of the most freakiest tracks on this collection.

Its perfect for adventurers stumbling upon some dark cult or being tempted by some evil artifact.

Most excellent. I already have some of those songs, and have used them many times - an excellent selection!

The Auld Grump, what, you think that I am *Bump!*ing this topic?
