Gaming stores in Tucson

For quite a while there was no game store as Things for Thinkers was the subject of a hostile takeover by a neighboring sub shop.

But that has recently changed with the opening of Hat's Games. I forget the exact address but it is on S. Alvernon between 22nd and 29th street, across the street (more or less) from a bowling alley (Lucky Strike I think).

BTW, on Sunday (2/27) the monthly Tucson Game Day will be held there from 9am to 6pm.

Gaming in Tucson

HATs, I just heard about this opening up.

Their card actually reads HATS GAMES, things for thinkers, so I dont know if they are from the old shop which I loved or what.

I get my stuff from the comic shop Heroes and Villians, not much in the way of D&D stuff mostly just core WoTC books and they have some War Machine things. They do carry MTG now, as well as HeroClix, StarWars and D&D minis.

as far as gaming, I played 3 times with the RPGA here and it was some of the worst gaming in the universe. Very hit and miss, some goodDMs and players and some of the worst, when you get stuck at a table with both youre in for some hurt.

But there were some good players and good DMs and they are nice and usually willing to do homegames and what not.

Anyhows,

good luck,

I'm probably going to stop into HATS this weekend and check them out.

Well I don't suppose it can be too much worse than South Florida. Thanks for the info.
