But their unfalsifiable hypothesis keeps being applied willy-nilly. It's an example of the "when all you have is a hammer" scenario. The singular of "data" is not "anecdote".

Personally, its all story for me. To be perfectly honest, if I want pure action, Warcraft 3 or Neverwinter nights does that much better than any tabletop RPG. I can even have LAN parties to get the social aspect!

But the computer can't replace the storytelling or immersive aspects of role playing games, so that's what I'm interested in. Combat, most of the time, bores me to tears.
