I know many of you don't need to game on line because you have plenty of face to face opportunities going on.
Those of you who don't should give it a try. Everyone, I mean everyone, who I have gamed with online using SKYPE (often with game table for mapping) has said its really fun and nearly as good as face to face without actually being face to face.
Plus, like tonight, I got to play with a guy from Argentina who I had been exchanging "board chat" and some PM's with for years, and we finally got to game together, hear each other talk, and it was just extremely cool, plus the game itself was fun.
If your looking for more gaming fun, give it a go online with SKYPE, or Ventrilo, Teamspeak, whatever voice program you can find for free to use.
It is so worth it!
Another cool thing about tonight, the DM just posted "Hey! I want to run a game tonight!" Within an hour or so we had a game going with 5 players stretching from Canada down to Argentina. How cool is that?!
So on a whim a DM got 6 gamers together from the North to the south of the America's, and we ended up gaming for about 5 or 6 hours. It was great fun!
Quit hesitating! Do it!
