By the way, did you know that "smurf berries" are really a common Greenbrier, the smilax aspera? Peyo liked the name "salsepareille" and so used it as the favorite meal of his little blue sprites.
Translating it by "smurf berries" is a misnommer since the smurfs eat the leaves, not the berries.
