Gargantuan White Dragon!

Good news overall!

I thought that they would put a dragon in there (to keep it even with the other icons), but I did think that there would be more minis in there, i.e. the rest of Drizzt's crew (although the setup does make sense, since it was those two who fought Icingdeath)

Now I guess next year will see a green of sorts and we have the chromatic wyrms. Maybe a Gargantuan Red, too.

And then we'll see whether they start doing metallics...

But I'm once again delighted that Wizards does care for their fans - instead of selling off their organs and/or firstborn to buy a Drizzt figure on eBay, they can now get one in the shop, pay half of what they would have paid on eBay, and get a Wulfgar and a Dragon to boot!

His millions of fans?

Drizzt Do`Uden is the worst Fantasy creation ever as well as everyother bad character that R.A Salvatore spits out every few months for those who like Pulp Fantasy to read.

You're just jealous of Bob's success, admit it. :p

Bob's a sweet kid, and I like his style, but I abhor Drizzt. Hatred is too meek a word to describe the utterness of my unliking.

But, yay, white dragon!

Also, I seem to have about 4 of the olde Drizzt minis laying around, along with four of those Large Silver Dragons. Fat lot of good they do me, as I don't play DDM.

Oh well, I guess they'll just gather dust.

Looks good:

-Gargantuan White: weakest dragon type, thus most likely to find use.

-Wulfgar: High quality classical barbarian. Decend.

-Drizzt: Pretty useless as-is, but great for repaint.

Yeah right.

(You're not called Tobus Neth on the Wizards Boards, are you? :p )

You really think you'll have any trouble getting rid of Drizzt?
I don't want to have to get rid of him; I don't want him in the first place. I was able to get rid of my Archfiends version for a pretty tidy sum; this one won't be worth nearly as much, so it won't be worth the trouble. I already have a half-dozen or so Barbarian Mercenaries from Dragoneye, so my generic wannabe-Conan needs are already met, too.

I though that was an impossibility. -Opens up the mind.

I doubt that this will open the way to orcs-by-the-dozen packs. I guess the other iconics might include some extra figures in the future, much like this, but they won't go crazy about it, and they won't put out dozens of packs each year.

I disagree. They have all been good reads...

Not everyone has the same taste when it comes to Fantasy.

A gargantuan white dragon plus two figures that would be rare and in high demand if released in random packs for 50 bucks sounds like a good deal to me.

In other news, Icingdeath is an... interesting... name for a dragon. It doesn't exactly fill me with fear. In fact, it makes me kinda hungry.

Mmmm, icing....
